Artist Introduction

Welcome to my Art!
Briefly....(not my best suit....) I am Cindi, born 'n raised in Arizona, attended Arizona State University while participating in two sports, three jobs, rode a moped and made a ton of memories with some wonderful people!
So, with Sports, Athletics, Dance, Wilderness Outings, and Public School Teaching, plus the absolute joy of raising a family, many years came well before my present art style! Much of it has been influenced by the beauty of Arizona, yet I paint in many genres, as seen in my Gallery.
The Pacific Northwest was also a great place to raise an active outdoorsy family. All are grown, and yep, I have grandchildren from crawlers to college-age. Everyone is still outdoorsy and I love this about my family. Each is an exceptional artist in their mediums as well.
Last but so important...The non-profit side of Salty Crow Art.
A special part of sharing my art and any talent from painting and researching is to invite local students 5th through 12th grade into this gallery, to tour, learn, and go away with their pieces of handmade art created while here!
Portions of my art for sale are going back into the non-profit side for supplies, allowing students access to highly discounted professional workshops! Acrylics and mixed media, as well as having their artwork displayed here in this local gallery. Art is therapy, art leads to so many wonderful opportunities, and I want to be a part of that.
I look forward to meeting each of you art enthusiasts, either purchasing my art(and soon photography links to print and sell). You can join me on terrific art workshops, pop-up paint events in my studio/gallery, or take a class from me at the best local art supply shop in our downtown!
TaTa, and have a great day!

Did I mention back in the early 80's I backpacked through the Grand Canyon while eight months pregnant with a terrific group of friends and hubby? Yep. Well much more recent than that, I hiked miles in the Superstitions(the rain storms are amazing), and so many other beautiful parts of Arizona, but never saw a snake, or too many other critters except on a snack break next to a very small scorpion, seemed harmless enough. I sure love painting the Southwest. Presently I paint a lot of the waterways, coast areas, hills, great old buildings, and floral/fauna/animals here in the San Francisco Bay area.
